I am traveling on business this week in Atlanta. We went out for dinner this evening and I decided to exercise my indulgence this evening. I had bread and bread sticks before dinner, salad and salmon with couscous. The problem here is not so much the food I ate--other than the bread and bread sticks which were white flour based--it was the amount of food I ate. I feel very full--like I did prior to PCP when I ate too much--and I really do not like it. Looking forward to tomorrow, my jumps and not feeling like I do right now.
Not much else to say.
And we didn't use to think anything of this very full feeling -- it was normal. Nice work!
ReplyDeleteIt's funny - once your body gets used to eating less carbs, it does feel quite filling to have too much of it. I used to shovel rice down like anything. Now I don't feel the urge to, and don't thinK I'd feel good doing it eithrer
ReplyDeleteAlot of the full feeling is actually 'bloated'. There is something good about being 'satisfied', with a little bit of space. Wanting to get up and move after a meal was a big PCP change for me.
ReplyDeleteYou're doing great!
